Spring 2026 - Little League Softball

Dobbs Ferry Youth Little League Softball

DFYLL's softball program is open to all. We are affiliated of Little League District 20 in New York and offer Little League softball to our community for players of all ages.

We are currently offering softball for all players in the following divisions:

6U/Rookies (league age 5 and 6 - born between 1/1/19-12/31/20)

8U/Pony (league age 7 and 8, born between 1/1/17-12/31/18)

10U/Minors (league age 9 and 10, born between 1/1/15-12/31/16)

12U/Majors (league age 11 and 12, born between 1/1/13-12/31/14)

*14U/Juniors (league age 13 and 14, born between 1/1/11-12/31/12)

*16U/Seniors (league age 15 and 16, born between 1/1/09-12/31/10)

*=Subject to player/coach interest and availability

6U softball will run every Tuesday evening and Saturday afternoon on the Dobbs Ferry Middle School turf field or on the turf at Springhurst Elementary School.

Before proceeding, please refer to the age calculator (provided by Little League International) here, as this will help determine the level of play for your player.

--VOLUNTEERS--

We need parent volunteers to help run and organize our teams this spring. Our team managers and head coaches are eligible for a 50% discount off their first player's registration. We are looking for parents to fill the following roles on each team:

***WITH THE EXCEPTION OF 6U SOFTBALL AND 14U/16U SOFTBALL, REGISTRATION HAS A HARD CLOSE OF FRIDAY, FEBRUARY 27. WE WILL NOT ACCEPT REGISTRATION REQUESTS BEYOND THAT DATE!***

There will be a $50 late fee applied to registrations between February 14 - February 27. Players registered after February 13 will not have their names or requested numbers fulfilled. Registrations cancelled before March 21 will be refunded less a $35 cancellation fee. Registrations cancelled after March 21 are non-refundable.

Summer 2026 - Travel Softball

Dobbs Ferry Eagles Travel

This is a limited registration for the travel baseball program which plays in the Greater Hudson Valley Softball League.

We are offering travel softball in the following divisions, subject to coach and player interest/availability:

14U - 16U (league-age 13-16, born between 1/1/2009 - 8/31/2012)

This is a separate registration and a separate cost to our town Little League baseball program. In summer and fall, your player is NOT required to be enrolled in a Little League program to participate in the travel program.

Practices and home games will be held either at Memorial Field, Dobbs Ferry High School, or on the softball field at Springhurst. Some home games may be played at Scenic Hudson Park in Irvington as well. The schedule for this division will be released in March and is subject to change.

Travel baseball is subject to availability based on player/coach enrollment. Travel team participation may be subject to a tryout and is not guaranteed.

If a team in a division cannot be formed, your registration fee for travel baseball will be refunded.
