Important announcement regarding Memorial Park for the Fall, 2025 season

Please be advised the baseball field at Memorial Park will be closing on October 1st so the Department of Public Works (DPW) can perform necessary maintenance on the field, which has endured quite a bit of wear and tear on the grass and dirt over the last year.

The DPW intends to re-sod the infield and fix the grass over the first two weeks of October, which is prime season for seeding, growing, and fertilizing ahead of the winter. The expectation is the field will be in awesome shape for Opening Day next spring, but we must allow the crew the necessary time and space to perform this all-important work to our home field.

Once October begins, we will no longer have access to the baseball field at Memorial Park. All practices and games will be at either Dobbs Ferry High School on the softball field, Springhurst Elementary School, or Scenic Hudson Park in Irvington. The gates will be locked - please do not enter the playing field and disrupt the seeding/fertilization process.
